Canterbury A&P Show 2017

Donald Sutton, Alison Conway and Graham Petrie, from the Calder Stewart rural team, attended the 155th Canterbury A & P Show held at the Canterbury Agricultural Park in Christchurch. The weather was favourable and helped contribute to it attracting in excess of 100,000 visitors over the three days, and more than 7,000 livestock and special entries, making it the largest A & P Show in New Zealand.

The weather, as always, plays an important part in the success of the Show and as hoped, it turned on three days of sunshine to entice farmers and the public to attend.

Calder Stewart enjoyed some good enquiry for our range of rural buildings, including woolsheds, implement sheds, dairy barns and dairy sheds. We look forward to working with these people over the next few weeks.
